Vanpain Capsule

Boswellia serrata (Shallaki)

• Boswellic acids present in it, inhibit the enzyme 5-lipoxygenase (above 10g of B.A. / ml of blood). So Inhibit leukotriene synthesis so inhibit pain and inflammation, initially it will increase pain because at 1-10g of B.A. / ml concentration it stimulates the enzyme 5-lipoxygenase.
• It also significantly reduces glycosaminoglycan degradation. Hence Increase maintenance of cartilage. So decrease progress of arthritis.

Acacia catechu (Khadhir)

• l-epicatechin present in it has very good anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-ulcer activities.
• Reduces gastric ulceration (if present due to chronic use of NSAIDs).
• Reduces inflammation (if present due to leukotrienes).
• Removes oxides, peroxides and super oxides (present due to wear & tear and leukotriene) and prevents further damage to the articular cartilage.

Vitex negundo (Nagod)

• Vitexin and other flavonoids are the therapeutically active constituent of the plant
• It possess anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities, against acute and subacute inflammation which are mediated through prostaglandin inhibition and reduction of oxidative stress.

Trigonella foenum-graecum (Methika)

• Contains polyunsaturated fatty acids, which strongly block the release of primary inflammogens like histamines, arachidonic acids, kinins etc.
• The DIOSGENIN plant steroid present in it induces apoptosis in RA Fibroblast-Like Synoviocytes and inhibit progress of RA So as a synergetic effect of all these ingredients there would be
• Decrease in release of arachidonic acid (due to fenugreek)
• if already arachidonic acid is released, there will be inhibition of conversion in to leukotrienes (due to inhibition of 5 LO by B. A.) and  there would be decrease in inflammation if leukotrienes are already present (due to anti-inflammatory activity of Acacia catechu)
• VANPAIN will take 7 – 10 days to show activity depending upon Weight, Age, Severity of disease and GIT condition of the patient.

Indications

Helpful in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteo Arthritis, Inflammatory joint Conditions, Spondylitis, Chikungunya Pain, Cervical Pain, Back Pain, Cancer Pain etc.

Dose

2 capsules 3-4 times a day till pain subside (loading dose) – approx. 3-5 days 1 capsule 3 times a day as maintenance dose.

If pain is associated with inflammation and patient is not having hypertension, give VANPAIN Capsule with water containing about 100mg of backing soda (Soda Bi Carb) to get faster result.
